Text Box: 4th June
Who's been watching 'Britain's Got Talent' then? So far, I have been able to guess which acts have gone through to the final (with the only exception being Chloe Hickinbottom on Wednesday). Did you see Miley Cyrus' new single? Her costume reminded me of  Lady Gaga. Speaking of which, my God did you see the Lady G impressionist on Wednesday? It's amazing how vapid some people are. I almost feel sorry for him - the judges putting him through made him raise his hopes and believe he really did have a talent, but anyone can dress up as Lady Gaga and sing badly... although maybe not quite as badly as him.
Because of half-term, I haven't seen any of my vapid school mates - sorry, fellow pupils, on account of the fact that none of them seem to care about me - and so my life is quite good. Apart from on Facebook, I have had no contact with any of them. Not even with my ex-bestfriend-turned-okay-ish friend Nanny, whose birthday it is today. Swallowing my pride, I turned up on her doorstep with Charlie and gave her a present... and she HUGGED me! I know, freaky right. But it was okay. She made a fuss of the dog and I didn't stay for too long. And I certainly didn't tell her that the present was one that I had been given for Christmas that I didn't want, no I didn't... and its not because I'm cheap, I just forgot to get her one. I know right, how bad am I. But it's the thought that counts... I think, That's what some wise guy with a beard once told me anyway.

Okay, okay, so I haven't written in over a month. Sorry, been a bit busy, what with black belt pre-gradings (which I passed) and enjoying the (little amounts) of sunshine. But anyway, the summer is here and that means a lot of things. It means my birthday... which okay was last week but hey it was good. I mean, it DIDN'T RAIN, which is like a miracle. For me, at least.
My aunt (and her four boys) are coming down next weekend. Great fun, seeing as the twins act like two year olds and the second eldest acts like a door. Still, they are actually quite fun to hang with. So I guess we'll just see what happens. The bad news is they aren't bringing their GORGEOUS dog, so I'll have to wait another half a year till we go and see her. Pity.
And finally, next week after the boy's visit it's the town carnival - which I don't have to dress up for this year. MAJOR relief to say the least. I have no idea what the theme is, but who cares. But the carnival also means the scarecrow competition - which is actually quite fun. Everyone making silly scarewcrows abd putting them up around the town. Definatley going to be something NOT to miss.

Had to endure going to church again to do another reading. Sure I don't mind it when we're there - has anyone ever noticed all the smart gorgeous boys go to church - but the big problem is just BEFORE church, a.k.a. what to wear. And that wouldn't be a problem if my parents didn't mind me wearing jeans and a shirt every week. This week they gave in and I wore mostly what I wanted, but they wouldn't let me wear my cropped jeans on account of the fact that they are 'scruffy'. But I am still glad that I won the argument.
As soon as we got home after church, we attacked the fridge cake, and despite my stomach's pleas I had a small piece. But then I gave in and had a second before going to walk the neighbours dog. Foolishly, I decided to walk through the village instead of around it, and I had to stop Charlie crapping on someone's driveway. I managed to find him some grass to crap on instead and ended up waiting for ten minutes for him to decide to crap there instead. Apparently, his owners are coming back on Thursday so I can relax after then.
On Facebook all anyone can talk about - apart from the black belts up at the competition in Swindon - is Spelbound winning 'Britain's Got Talent' last night. I don't see how they did it, but even so I'm pleased for them. As for the black belts, I made a startling revelation - it's my instructor's birthday on Tuesday! I would get him a card, but that might be problematic as I haven't got a damn clue how old he is going to be. Looks like I'll have to do some investigating before Tuesday... if I survive going back to school tomorrow.

We got up early this morning and went to the beach. The man trap I created by our tent whilst Dad took my sister to the loo seemed to work, because afterwards there were lots of boys, although not all of them were so nice. But one in particular - who parked his tent several feet away from ours!! - was totally gorgeous. Grace and I went down to where the waves were washing over the shore and I dived straight in... only to find that the sea was bloody freezing. We joked around there for a bit, and after trying to bury each other in the sand, we finally plucked up the courage to go further into the sea. It worked, and despite getting a mouthful of sea water and turning slightly purple, I really enjoyed it.
We came home and Dad hosed us off with the freezing cold hose - which was warm in comparison to the sea - and I had to quickly shower before taking the neighbours dog for a walk. The rest of the afternoon passed quickly, and I spent most of it watching videos on Youtube. Then 'Britain's Got Talent' came on. And Dad and I spent most of our time complaining about if we had a ten minute break between every act, baring in mind there were ten acts, we would die of boredom. And guess what? We did.
Then finally, after two and a half hours of crap, they announced the winner. And it wasn't even the guy that I wanted to win... it was Spelbound. And I had wasted my entire evening to have it crushed in a matter of seconds. And all that crap that the judges said about the public getting it right? They got it so wrong. Sure Spelbound should have been top three but to WIN it! No way. And that Kieran guy? Sure it's good for him to come back and try again, but no way should he have come third. I'm sorry, but it's true. And after this show of idiocy and vapidness (which is not a word but who cares), I am not watching B.G.T. next year. At least, not the final. Why else do we have Youtube?
